1. Pickup from your accommodation in Nazca
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Nazca, where you'll be welcomed by a bilingual guide (Spanish/English) who will accompany you throughout the trip.
2. Ocongalla Aqueduct
We will begin with a visit to the Ocongalla Aqueduct, a marvel of hydraulic engineering built by the Nazca civilization. Over 1,500 years old, this aqueduct is still operational and showcases the ingenuity of the Nazca people in adapting to the arid desert.
3. Cahuachi Pyramid
Next, we head to the Cahuachi Pyramid, the largest adobe ceremonial center in the world. Here, we will explore the imposing temples, pyramids, and learn about the religious significance of this site in the Nazca worldview.
4. Nazca Cemetery
We will continue with a visit to the Nazca Cemetery, a small but revealing archaeological site. Here, you can see original mummies and remains that showcase the rituals and beliefs of the Nazca culture.
